KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist in the facilitation and the implementation of action plans and assignments endorsed by leadership.• Assist in the coordination and development of strategies to protect and advance members interests.• Represent the ASU in hearings, conferences and meetings.• Regularly communicate on industry research and workplace development matters and provide research services and advice.• Provide research, industrial advice and representation.• Data analysis including data cleaning and preparation as well as analysis and exploration.• Prepare and present submissions on behalf of the ASU.• Assist in developing and implementing of strategic plans for the ASU.• Assist in the compilation of journal articles, newsletters, bulletins and media releases.

• Provide advice, high profile representation, advanced research advocacy, industry coordination, and strategies.• Facilitate the implementation of action plans and assignments endorsed by the National Executive.• Maintain and research improvements for employment awards and agreements.• Represent the ASU in hearings, conferences and meetings, as required.• Provide research/industrial advice and representation. Including corporate, industrial and statistical research.• Prepare and present submissions on behalf of the ASU.• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the ASU.• Prepare and assist in the compilation of journal articles, newsletters, bulletins and media releases.• Prepare and lodge applications with Fair Work Australia.• Create, write and distribute internal procedure documents.

• Orchestrated communications, monitored requests, and identified those that required immediate attention.• Production of presentations and reports for Executive meetings.• Prepared meeting briefing packages on a daily basis.• Arrange travel and accommodation and travelling with leadership to provide general assistance during presentations and conferences. • Screen telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.• Meet and greet visitors and stakeholders at all levels of seniority.• Organise bi-annual conferences.• Organise and maintaining diaries and making appointments.• Produce media releases, documents, newsletters, reports, spreadsheets and presentations.• Database and budget management.
