Working as both the Office Manager and Senior Account Executive opened a window into the responsibilities that fall upon an Owner and their HR department. With this valuable insight I was able to provide not only a benefit administration solution but HR administration solutions as well. By incorporating the hiring process into the benefit enrollment, I was able to reduce the amount of time it takes to bring a new team member on board for our team and for many clients. This combination provided cost savings to companies who were exploring additional programs and services.A benefit program is a large business expense highly valued by employees. Understanding both sides of a benefits program allows me the opportunity to work with many businesses by being an extension of their benefits departments. I strategized cost-containment and benefit enhancement to improve their overall benefit programs, while establishing strong relationships with carriers to navigate and negotiate the best program options for my clients.I enjoy leading by example and helping others on my team grow and improve their skills. I developed many systems to reduce the amount of time spent on data entry and other repetitive tasks so we could focus more of our time on our relationships.
