Jody Roun is an experienced educator and Executive Coach with a passion for veterans, the humanties, and psychedelic research. She is skilled in guest lecturing, psychology, analytics, military benefits and financial aid with a background in art history and digital program management. Jody possesses a strong arts and design background with a Master of Liberal Studies (M.L.S.) focusing on neuroscience and fine art, and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanties, both from Rollins College. Prior to Full Sail, Jody developed a proven history of project management, instructional design, and mentoring through management roles in retail, and culminating with a position as a instructor, project manager, and technical and digital media assistant at UCF. During this time she was also invited to be a guest lecturer at the UCF College of Human Performance, and lead the Paramore Signal Box Project. She has also served on the ArtStor and Orlando Science Center advisory board overseeing the largest museum image database in the world, and Florida's premiere education designation respectively. At Full Sail family Jody progressed from an online enrollment guide to a senior military enrollment guide repsonsinble for training all new team members. She then served as a VA certifying official, where she acted as a liaison between FS and Veterans Affairs while maintaining compliance. Finally, she worked her way into the Academic Advising team where she has been leading the online training of new team members and spearheading the Academic Life Coaching Initiative.Since leaving academia Jody has been Managing Partner at Good Highdeas. A bespoke consulting company where she has worked with clients big and small on everything from personal life coaching through large scale Cultural shifts in organizations. In her spare time Jody enjoys gardening and tending to her small orchard, as well as spending time with her husband and house full of animals (2 dogs, 3 cats). You can catch her on weekends living her best life either playing Pokémon Go or completely HGTV level projects around the house.
