Johnson Direct are big on measuring. We would use tried and tested direct response marketing techniques to measure the response rates of every marketing element we created- from direct mail, to radio ads to eMarketing. Through that I was able to learn what works and what doesn't, building on what produced the highest sales for the client and then formulating the next campaign to further improve responses. I was fortunate to work with clients like BlueCross BlueShield, High Plains Bison, the Sleep Wellness Institute and Pierce Fire Trucks to name a few.

The One Group is a very talented creative agency in Dallas. I had a lot of fun handling sales conferences for PepsiCo (Wal-Mart and Grocery divisions). We created crazy videos, amazing stage sets and inspirational displays to motivate their sales force to break one record after another for their division.Haggar Clothing Company, who are licensed to market Claiborne, Kenneth Cole and various Wal-Mart brands, entrusted the team I managed with their fashion photography, point of sale and package design. Other clients included Village Jewelers for which we did a brand overhaul and various radio campaigns, point of sale and retail promotions; Brach's candy for whom we did a whole new product launch and retail display, and an old favorite Upland Hunting – a hunting ranch near Dallas.

There's always that one place you worked that is dear to your heart and Buerkett Marketing is that special employer I'll never forget. You just had to love the pink tool box the ladies had when I joined the agency. Dana Buerkett ran one of the most technologically advanced agencies that was able to break through the muddle as online advertising was ushered in. We created banner ads that really worked, and flash web sites that made the industry's head spin, winning every award in every category year in and year out. My primary client was Provena Covenant Medical Center, one of two local hospitals in the area. Our team created television, radio, print and outdoor campaigns to rebrand the hospital and continued to do so to make Provena a household brand in the region. Unlimited regional wireless was a novel idea at the time, so we had our work cut out for us when we launched Amica Wireless in four regions with an extensive radio and billboard campaign. After two short years, sales were up over 600%. In fact the company was doing so well it was bought up by a competitor at a tremendous profit to the client.
