As a Senior IT Business Analyst for Penn State Health, I am responsible for leading complex initiatives with both business and technical staff in gathering requirements, prioritizing initiatives, architecting solutions, and presenting/implementing technical and functional capabilities in support of projects, contracts, grants, and operational needs within Penn State's College of Medicine.I also have a strong background in academia, as an Associate Professor at Clarion University of Pennsylvania and PennWest Clarion, where I teach and research topics related to information systems, modeling, and simulation. I hold a Doctor of Science degree in Information Systems and Communications from Robert Morris University, and a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from The College of William and Mary. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills in software design, development, and deployment to the software engineering field, and I am fluent in Agile and Waterfall project management principles.
