Plan, direct and supervise team members in the day to day operations. Serve as a mentor and coach for all team members. Responsible for maximizing the store's sales, profit, and customer service objectives through the effective management of store teammates. Provide expertise and leadership direction for all loss prevention programs.

Assist Store Manager in the coordination of activities, scheduling, and day-to-day operational directions to 13-16 main store teammates. Monitor the sales floor to ensure teammates are performing assigned duties. Train teammates on store policy, procedures and job duties.Provide input on teammates performances to the Store Manager. Responsible for opening and closing store, and all functions for effective operation of store.Assist with the LP Safety program.Provide customer service by phone, and answer instore customer questions, assist customers at check-outs.When needed, have gone to Hometown stores missing Assistant Managers, or Store Managers, and have assumed the position of the acting Manager positions until they were filled.

Assist in the operation of the store, knowledge of sales floor, office, receiving and customer service. Work with leadership to train, develop, coach and teach team members as directed.Work with general public and customers, outside vendors and sales representatives. Directly responsible for overseeing all store activities for decision making in the absence or presence of the Store Team Leader.

Assist in operational priorities, review new planograms and work with other team members to complete them. Provide or assist training to fellow team members. Participate in maintaining the store appearance, keeping the store stocked by purging merchandise from the stockroom. Responsible for overseeing store activities, and supervise all functions and resolve customer issues during the presence or the absence of the Store Team Leader, and Assistant Team Leader.
