I graduated from the University of Southampton with a degree in Modern History and Politics in 2021. I have 3 years experience working in the construction industry and in logistics but, I am looking for a new challenge. I am a determined individual who wants to make a difference to young people’s lives through teaching. I fulfill the need for a confident communicator and I am experienced in working in both small and large teams. One of my attributes is that I am a hard worker which is vitally important in order to establish productive working relationships both with lead teachers and students. My three years at university taught me how to be adaptable and I am confident that I will be able to contribute to a positive and successful working environment for students. I am a problem-solver and overcoming challenges is something that I am passionate about. With all of this in mind, I will make it my mission to foster creativity and positivity in a successful learning environment.Outside of the workspace, my proudest achievements come from my charity fundraisers:At university, I was the Squad Captain of the Southampton University Amateur Boxing Club and I was responsible for helping to train beginners and more experienced boxers. As a club we also raised over £500 for the Bone Cancer Research Trust by taking part in the 'Burpees in November Challenge'. In 2020 I competed in a charity boxing bout and raised £400 for the Royal Marines Charity and I competed again in 2022 raising money for Cancer Research UK. These experiences have taught me that to achieve a significant goal you must have discipline, determination and be adaptable to new and challenging environments.
