I have 25 years’ experience in the technical side of web development and digital transformation. I'm the founder of GPnetworks Ltd and spend my time collaborating closely with partners in Primary Care.In 2004, I co-founded GPnetworks, a low cost and effective locum network, availability and booking solution. Over the next 10 years, GPnetworks became a successful solution along the south coast of England, saving much time, money and stress and building a network of resources.In 2018, I developed a second substantial solution within the GPnetworks network, called Workforce. By 2020 this was an established federation level solution, used to manage the workforce and output of multiple local services. During COVID, it provided an immediate solution for building a workforce and rostering vaccine clinics and played a vital role in setting up and delivering local vaccine services at scale.In 2021, I joined with Foundry Healthcare to embark on a new project, called Tempo. Tempo is the final part to a complete network solution that reaches from practice operational management to federations to workforce pools, including locums.In 2023, having built a prototype of Tempo and tested it with our own operations team and operational design, we began to expand the customer base, setting up a series of pilots in the South East and London. These pilots are showing that Tempo is a universal practice and PCN solution, as well as a network that combines federations and flexible workforce pools.
