I was responsible for managing the daily operations, of the open stock department, for the North American hub of an international luxury brand wholesale and retail distributor. On a daily basis I directed the activities of order pickers, full case processors, replenishment staff and support staff. Additionally, I was responsible for ensuring that all orders taken during normal business hours were processed and shipped on the same day. I also ensured that all order fulfillment, productivity, and cost goals, were met on a daily basis. As well as ensuring that the companies’ policies and procedures for health and safety were followed by all team members.

Responsible for the order fulfillment, accuracy and repackaging, of e-com orders, for major online retailers. I was also responsible for the receiving and put away of inbound shipments. Other responsibilities include but are not limited; investigating “stock outs”, requesting transfers of product from other facilities, auditing receiving and put away paperwork, safety and security. - Developed kiting process for QVC orders.- Developed and implemented daily cycle counts process for high shrink items.

I was responsible for the accurate receipt and posting of all deliveries to the club, investigating all negative inventory sales, weekly cycle counts and the investigating and resolution of all inventory adjustments in excess of $500. I was also responsible for all salvage and destruction claims processed, assisting staff with customer concerns, and performing club-to-club transfers.

I was responsible for all functions of the warehouse facility and coordinating all activities in the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Work with several client’s on projects of varying sizes and values. - A menswear client asked to develop a system that would eliminate their dependency on a trim vendor for a specific item. My system resulted in an annual savings of $120,000.- Due to poor quality, a ladieswear client as me to research and implement new pressing technology. The equipment chosen resulted in annual savings of $30,000.- After an expensive workers comp claim, a menswear client asked me to research new technology for finishing armholes.- A streetwear distributor reached out to me to help improve picking efficiency and accuracy. Through the introduction of fixed pick locations my client realized an increase of 30% efficiency and a 50% reduction in picking errors. It also resulted in an increase in put away efficiency. - Reengineered the sewing floor for a children’s wear manufacturer resulting in a reduction of 3,000 sq. ft.

Had complete responsibility for converted a uniform manufacturing facility from a T.W. to a P.W. environment.
