You don’t build a work history like mine without being willing to take a chance. I’ll never forget loading my car and pointing it South towards Lancaster, Wisconsin. I was leaving behind a good job in the beverage industry, a house and a fiancée - for small town radio and a paycheck that barely covered the gas needed to get there.That trip – and the decision to follow my passion into broadcasting – put me on the road to a diverse and unique set of skills.I'm a listener, a skill honed during my radio career. There's no better way to begin the process of problem solving, than to close your mouth and open your ears. Who is my client? What are their needs? How do I effectively and efficiently help them to meet their goals?Communicating? The gift of gab is part of my repertoire, but there’s more to communicating than the spoken word. My time at Canterbury Park in the Public Relations field taught me the value of a great professional relationship - with both sides of a story. And speaking of relationships, I pride myself on building lasting ones- my list of influencers, collaborators, and co-workers includes many of the most effective leaders in our community. Most important to me is the principle of building trust through credibility. In my current role as a Real Estate Agent, the power of word of mouth and reputation are reinforced every day. I strive to manage expectations, inspire confidence, and stay with my clients from first contact to the close of the deal.
