Led the modernization of our 200+ person development organization SDLC tooling that supports the organizations ability to build, deliver and secure our software stack. Revamped the entire approach to how we perform our security scans, onPrem and cloud build pipelines as well as hands off sanity testing. Over two years, working with a talented group of managers and developers we put in place a lights-out, fully automated approach for each of these areas. Today, we build code that deploys both to the cloud as part of our SaaS offering as well as to our onPrem Software offering. All code and Kubernetes images are scanned continuously for vulnerabilities and violations( open source, static and dynamic scans ). Builds happened on-demand, based on the GitOps model of development. Sanity executes continuously, across multiple configurations, with test from each component delivered into a Sanity framework to allow for parallel release stream development. All output from these processes and integrated into Slack and GIT to notify teams and keep the organization in synch as we are dealing with numerous teams distributed around the world. All this has been achieved through adopting agile processes across the teams, focusing on team-work, and breaking down silos in the organization. We focused on small incremental changes that allowed the organization to move forward and see the benefits from the get-go, versus a big bang delayed approach
