As the Chief Operating Officer of the San Francisco Bay Area Council, Boy Scouts of America and Learning for life we have built a community focused service oriented approach to operations by meeting our community where they are and joining in their vision for community growth while providing operating structure and mapping for how to achieve their goals along a sustainable growth plan.Through management of 9 full time executives and over 3,000 volunteers we serve over 14,000 youth in Alameda and San Francisco counties. Our mission is to teach our members to make moral and ethical choices over their lifetimes. We achieve our goals through civic engagement (102,000 hours of documented community service in 2015) and with our members to have higher college enrollments than our community as a whole.Continued focus on program approach changes targeting volunteerism focused around our communities fast paced lifestyle of dual income households and the millennial generation are primary foci for continued growth in membership, finding and program participation.

As a Field Director, I supervise two of our premier districts as well as our Learning for Life Programs and Direct Support Outreach into under-served communities. Additionally, I manage $600,000 in direct fundraising efforts, known internally as Friends of Scouting and an additionally $680,000 in government contracts for our Learning for Life programs.In my field, and through employee and volunteer support, we serve over 4,100 youth in traditional scouting programs, 800 in direct support programs, and 2,000 in Learning for Life. I have 5 direct report employees who assist me on this and a line staff of over 70 who help implement our programs.

Work in a high level fast paced outside sales environment focused on building the Scouting Program through increasing membership and fundraising to support youth leadership development programs. Work has been focused in lower Alameda County (Fremont, Newark, Union City, CA) as well as San Francisco, Ca where we have increased our fundraising every year while decreasing overhead expenses to optimize our program and streamline our dollars to directly benefit youth. While managing our fundraising we have continued to grow our membership and increase our retention rates by focusing on core programs and optimizing the time of our volunteer base. Since 2008 areas under my leadership have reached their fundraising goals every year and have a gross membership increase over 30%.

Worked as the direct contact professional in the communities of Fremont, Newark and Union City California. Worked in a heavily diverse community with over 50+ languages including the largest concentration of Afghannies in the United States. Consistently raised over $120,000 in direct funding for our programs as well as over $100,000 in popcorn product sales and nearly 25% sustained membership growth over that period.

Build and operate an emerging education focused after school agency in Oakland, CA. Our focus is to provide a seamless school day for all students from the moment school begins until the conclusion of the after school program at 6:00pm. Our focus is on educational support and enrichment activities especially youth leadership and empowerment and anti-bullying. The program is funded through ASES and OFCY as well as private and corporate benefactors dedicated to assisting "at risk" students learn to rise above the socioeconomic society they currently reside in.
