I am a Police Training Coordinator with the North Central Texas Council of Governments Regional Police Academy. Prior to this, I worked for the Richland Hills Police Department for all of my professional sworn Law Enforcement career, and my last assignment was to the Professional Standards Unit. I worked at Richland Hills from 2006 until my retirement in 2022.I hold a Master Peace Officer certification; a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Basic Instructor certification; and a TCOLE Firearms Instructor certification among other credentials. I have also held a designation of Field Training Officer.I also have been employed as an adjunct instructor for the Tarrant County College Law Enforcement Training Center since 2019.My previous civic service includes deployment to Afghanistan with the U.S. Army in 2002 while assigned to the 345th PSYOP Co (ABN) as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.I hold a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice (Justice Policy and Administration) from the University of North Texas, a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Tarleton State University, and an Associate of Arts and Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from Tarrant County College.
