I research, develop, and deploy clean energy technologies. I am currently focused on carbon-free NH3 fuel. I shifted Starfire Energy's focus to that in 2016, and we have made great stides in developing and demonstrating (1) a flexible, low-pressure, carbon-free NH3 synthesis technology, and (2) developing a lower temperature catalyst for converting NH3 back into hydrogen and nitrogen for applications that need that. Our Rapid Ramp NH3 technology combines clean electricity, nitrogen from air, and hydrogen from water to make a completely carbon-free fuel that can be used for seasonal energy storage, grid firming, transportation, and industrial.
