Lead the Faculty’s Research, Innovation and Enterprise professional services team ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness of service provision to support research, enterprise and business engagement activity in the Faculty. Foster new collaborations, facilitate partnerships and develop projects and proposals to enhance the Faculty’s research, knowledge exchange and enterprise performance.Enhance intelligence on research funding opportunities and work with School Research Directors to identify ways to successfully leverage research grant and contract funding.Identify, develop and establish Industry relationships and corporate partnerships for the purposes of knowledge exchange, executive education and consultancy opportunities. To lead on the engagement of these relationships and identify meaningful ways to harness impact.Identify, develop and support delivery of a portfolio of initiatives to increase and diversify income streams including through the development of executive education courses, working with the Executive Education Recruitment director and short course programme directors.Lead the development of international EMBA partnerships and the recruitment, promotion and wider engagement of EMBA networks including the development of external international networks in-market; British Council, Chamber of Commerce, Business Councils, EAIE & APAIE etcLead on the development and coordination of the experience packages associated with both the faculty’s flag-ship programmes (EMBA) and its other professional programmes (Degree Apprenticeships, Executive Education), to ensure a world-class service and environment for all learners, sponsors and stakeholders.

Manage the areas of Research, Innovation and Enterprise within the Faculty of Business, Law and Politics, overseeing and ensuring high quality professional engagement in the areas of research, business engagement and international partnership development and maintenance, encouraging growth and identifying opportunities for innovative and entrepreneurial activity. Operationalise the Faculty’s internationalisation strategy ensuring alignment with University strategies and objectives.Diversify income streams and to make a positive contribution to the region’s business community. Coordinate the faculties corporate relationships both domestic and international, facilitating engagement activities that focus on commercialisation and knowledge exchange. Operationalise the Faculty’s research strategy, facilitating research activity and encouraging academic staff to identify funding opportunities and increase the volume and quality of research bids. Coordinate the development of international EMBA partnerships and the recruitment, promotion and wider engagement of EMBA networks. Including the development of external international networks in-market; DiT, British Council, Chamber of Commerce, Business Councils, EAIE & APAIE etc.Lead on the development of processes to support the delivery of Business Engagement and Executive Education activity within the faculty, including identifying opportunities for consultancy and knowledge exchange.To coordinate the development of multi-million pound international, educational and Corporate partnerships through lead generation, negotiating contracts, conducting research and producing reports on potential partnership opportunities.Liaise and coordinate with government contacts across the world, UK Department of International Trade and various national Chambers of Commerce to develop new business leads/partnerships and to coordinate new commercial activities for the Faculty.

To lead the operations for internationalisation of the Faculty’s Academic and Commercial programmes, mobility and corporate activities in the Business School.Contribute to the strategic decision-making processes for the maintenance & development of partnerships with International Colleges and Higher Education Institutions, as well as corporate partnerships, industry and business networks around the globe.To develop and manage the faculty’s Business Engagement portfolio and activities. Create greater brand awareness of various Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, bidding opportunities and research consultancies. Manage a team of 7 individuals within the Faculty’s Professional Services in support of its International and Business Engagement output.Manage the operational budget of 165k-210k within the scope of the Faculty’s International and Corporate Engagement and Commercial activities. Develop the Faculty's Executive Education and professional programmes. Lead the Engagement team on the international commercial activities, generate clients and business leads and to diversify revenue streams. To coordinate the development of multi-million pound international, educational and Corporate partnerships through lead generation, negotiating contracts, conducting research and producing reports on potential partnership opportunities.Liaise and coordinate with government contacts across the world, UK Department of International Trade and various national Chambers of Commerce to develop new business leads/partnerships and to coordinate new commercial activities for the Faculty. Coordinate the organisation of international mobility, short programmes and study abroad opportunities (e.g. Erasmus), ensuring support for international visits, delegations, and international partnership activity.To represent the University during international visits, conferences and various international government forums, contributing to the business effectiveness of the institution.

To coordinate the development of international partnerships, educational agreements (including trans-national education) and initiatives to promote internationalisation within the School, enhance student recruitment and the reputation of the School internationally.To coordinate the School’s programme of international visits to existing and potential partner institutions, recruitment agents and fairs.To contribute to excellent support for international students throughout their student journey, from application, meeting on arrival to the UK and welcoming to the School, to ensuring international student issues are addressed (liaising with the HUBS Learning & Teaching Enhancement team) and responding to the results of surveys of international students.To plan and coordinate activities to enhance and promote student mobility, including overseas study visits, international summer/winter schools and student placements abroad.To support HUBS international and recruitment activities and events, including outreach, student recruitment, admissions clearing and international engagement events. To act as the School’s representative when required on relevant University committees and working groups, to be a member of the School’s International Committee, and to actively participate in and engage with University and sector networks.

- Coordinate the outgoing procedures for study abroad students involved in year-long, semester-long and summer abroad opportunities. - Coordinate the service provision and support networks for outgoing study abroad students including the coordination of the Student Study Abroad Conference, Re-Orientation sessions, support mechanisms and annual review of student mobility services.- Coordinate the implementation of the Engagement Strategy for Study Abroad exchanges Outgoing and Incoming students. Including design of new publications, brand, website and social media.- Assist in the development of the student mobility mapping, the structure of the new Model of Programmes structure for study abroad. This includes reviewing current process and reporting on gaps in service, solutions and recommendations.- Develop external partnerships with companies to provide student opportunities that enhance global perspectives, focusing on enhancing student employability skills.- Project lead for implementation and coordination of mobility information system MoveOn campus wide for us of recording all types of mobility, including staff, student and partnership frameworks.- Implement a Social media strategy, maintain media platforms for optimisation (Snapguide, Facebook, Twitter, ISSU, joomag) and maintain web content.- Coordinate and liaise with the International Office, Student Support Services and Students Union in planning and coordinating the Universities 6 International Welcome Weeks.

- Design and deliver a program that promotes and encourages internationalisation within the University Campus and develops career skills and personal experience for students and graduates.- Design Strategic Outreach Plan that promotes active participation within local communities and educational institutions.- Coordinate a number of training workshops that focus on Team Building, and inform on internal policies regarding volunteers.- Coordinate a series of Reflective Learning workshops that encourages confidence and self-belief. Design workshops to tailor the needs for students, enabling them to develop skills needed to progress into wanted career.- Coordinate events and trips that deliver the primary aims of the project whilst complying to all health and safety procedures.- Coordinate the main activities for integration & cultural awareness of International students at the University, including Chinese New Year and a 5-day Culture Festival (attendances ranging from 100 to 1,300)- Manage the schemes budget, maximizing income and controlling costs to achieve financial targets.- Record demographics and conduct analysis on engagement and student experiences for future analysis.- Design volunteer portfolio and conduct workshops on how to use effectively in student PDP.

- Administrative duties, with extensive use of Microsoft programmes such as Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Project and Word.- Coordination over resource reviews and production timetables.- Research of national initiatives in Education and Health, production of reports and potential project models.- Collate and analyse statistics and evidence from assessments to formulate a detailed report on RRSA's impact in schools and on young people within educational settings.- Liaise with schools and educational institutions for support and promotion of RRSA programme and UNCRC.- Review and edit presentations, as well as brochures, websites and other public relations materials for Service Users.- With guidance from Programme Director, develop and maintain relationships with community based organizations, government agencies, public health practitioners and other potential partners around the issues of Education disparities, including facilitating information sharing, connecting partners to RRSA resources, and helping to raise industry awareness.- Maintain online VLE of School information for Principal Assessors and overall project.

- Develop and refine the regional online training practices and resources.- Responsible for new employee orientation and their training plan, training policies, procedures rules and regulations.- Schedule blended training opportunities between online and on-the-job, coaching, mentoring and other training methods.- Coordinate the regional wide training events for all stores.

- Assist in recruitment of volunteers.- Conduct training workshops and presentations for volunteers, refugees and staff.- Assist in the support and service delivery of refugee employability support programs in ERN Manchester Office.- Create network with local schools and lead on presentations and workshops to promote camps.- Represent the UK Network in an international conference in Australia focusing on Social Justice and Equality.- Provide support and training to volunteers in Sierra Leone in establishing youth activities for young children, liaising with various schools in Bo and Makaine for participation.- Create and develop training resources and risk assessments for use in children's development activities.
