Lambing outdoors around Easter each year, with a focus on assisting the Landlords with their desire to improve the biodiversity of the ground. Spent six months with Stanhay Webb during my placement year at Harper Adams University College. Learnt a great deal using CAD to design a new seed drill, oversee it through production and then testing.

General Farm Worker on a large beef and sheep farm in North Yorkshire.

Three fantastic summers working on a forward thinking agricultural contractor business, also assisting with their dairy farm. Main duties included tractor driving during silaging, rowing up, baling, carting and assisting with the dairy herd.

Three harvest seasons working as a tractor driver as well as assisting with grain drying and sheep work.
