Responsible for directing the Plant’s operations by efficient, economical and efficient utilization of the management team to direct all projects, supervision, manpower, materials/inventory, warehouses, equipment, production control, maintenance, safety and facilities. Supervise the Production team and chair the weekly productionmeeting.° Implementation of strategic direction for the department.° Adherence to budgetary guidelines.° Development of Key Performance Indicators “KPI”.° Measure, monitor and establish shop capacity. (both backlog andunsecured backlog)° Positive, direct customer interaction throughout all stages ofproduction.° Ensuring projects are completed in a timely and profitable manner.° Manage a safe, cost effective and efficient manufacturing environment.° Ensure open and effective communications.° Determine short and long term labour requirements.° Ensure employee appraisals are carried out for all direct employees(review performance and job descriptions; set goals; motivateemployees)° Participation and understanding of both unit price and build to speccontracts° Participate in turnover meetings with project management onsuccessful bids° Establish Plant Capex budgets° Analyze, submit and supervise the execution of Plant/Facility CTR’s.° Participate in the development & maintenance of company cross-functional teams o QA/QC Audits o Cost of Quality o Safety 'Aecon Red Book' Implementation o Welder Qualifications o Project Close Outs and Analysis o Lead in the implementation and sustaining of Lean Manufacturing into the culture of production. o Establish Fabrication Materials Logistics Charter and implementation for all Fab Shop materials, including consumables. o Ensure that the Plant/Plants are adhering to Aecon established safety requirements. o Ensure that all Production departments maintain proper training programs for all employees.

° Develop, manage and communicate shop schedules and manpower plans to meet contract requirements. ° Provide Boiler Shop/Cleanroom/Heavy Machines Manpower Gross Leveling System (MGLS). ° Provide Integrated Primavera Shop Plan (All BWC shops, Boiler Shop, Cleanroom, Heavy Machines, Machine Shop, Tube Shop, Header Shop and Melville). ° Provide Weekly Boiler Shop and Cleanroom schedules. ° Provide Proposal Schedules and Lead times. ° Critical Resource Planning (Identify Resource Overloads recommend sublet or capacity increases). ° Primary Project Manager Contact for Boiler Shop BWSC Service Work. ° Weekly Shop Floor Starts and Finishes measurements. ° Earned Value Weekly Percentage Complete Analysis. ° CI Team member on OTSG Lower Primary Head Nozzle Welds. ° CI Team Leader on P3.1 to Primavera 5.0 conversion of Integrated Shop Plans.
