Working closely with our CEO and People Manager, my current role is to facilitate the daily operations at a company of over 160 employees. I lead a group of individuals who manage staff of diverse skills and needs, providing solutions and strategy for their team and personal goals. My duties also include tracking and maintaining budgeted spending, allocation of resources, and creating cross company processes. Our most recent project has been the restructuring of our Departments to be integrated into the Project Manager Teams directly. This included surveying, presenting, and coordinating new development paths for our field staff and middle level managers. We built specific training modules to help diversify skills and speed up information flow to key areas of our job site process. Developed a performance review program, providing managers, supervisors and employees with a mutual understanding of their personal growth and development through skills lists, baselines, and skill details and definitions.Based on the success of this program, I implemented it throughout the company’s departments, coaching other managers on its use and philosophy. Had the opportunity to share this program with PPCR’s affiliates throughout the western provinces.

In this role, I was responsible for the performance, profitability, and efficiency of our Carpentry and Cabinetry trades people's efforts. I was accountable for all scheduling, estimating, and completion of projects and worked closely with multiple Project Managers and our then Operations Manager to deliver quality and timely service. In this team of 15 employees, I completed performance reviews, training, and development, leaving the group in capable hands upon a planned promotion to Operations.
