José María Cabello Pérez is an Arts graduate of University College Dublin (BA 1993; HDipEd 1996; MA 1999) He is very involved in education and sports through his teaching of Spanish and Computer Science in Irish secondary schools. He holds a Football Association of Ireland (soccer football) level 1 coaching Certificate and has coached junior league teams in Galway and Dublin since 1994. He currently manages Leicester Celtic of Nutgrove, South Dublin. He represents Atlético de Madrid (Spanish premier division soccer club) in its Dublin Academy, where he provides leadership courses. He has also worked for The Samba Soccer Camps who have benefitted from his sports management experiences. He has acted as a Coordinator of the camps from 2003-2008. Since 2009 he manages the Dangerous Camps for Boys in Rockbrook School. During his undergraduate years at UCD he played basketball for the College team in the 1992 and 1993 seasons.He has helped with the development of a number of successful youth clubs in Ireland since 1990 -(Nullamore Youth Club, Milltown Dublin 6, Cleraun Study Centre, Dublin 4 and Gort Ard Club in Salthill, Galway). His leadership skills with youth have been the result of this activity.He is currently the Honorary President of the Padel Federation of Ireland. He is a certified padel coach at junior and adult level by the Padel Federation of Ireland. He also works for Ireland & Families, I & F Education and Forum Educativo (Spain).
