Core components included Citrix, Apache, Memcached, Perl, JavaScript and Zookeeper. Introduced the mobile client for the platform as it was rebuilt. This is fundamentally a desktop/apps as a service cloud solution. This product, known as MyDesk, is still used at Morgan Stanley today.Recruited and trained key staff necessary for the above undertaking.The MyDesk system has been battle tested - notably, it has allowed the firm to continue to operate during Hurricane Sandy in 2012, when the entirety of lower Manhattan was without power. It has also become the internal portal for the access of every desktop (100,000+) in the firm. -
