Infrastructure liaison and advisor to a number of business teams; breaking down business requirements into specific deliverables between the business units and the infrastructure teams. Drove strategic conversations between engineering, operations, business teams and executive managers. Led transformative global programs to modernize legacy technology stacks and business practices into the cloud native, as well as to optimize technology spends. Analyzed product and infrastructure data, using Python (Pandas), Jupyter, Perl, Excel and SQL to understand costs, usage, capacity, issues and other such metrics. Principal project owner and implementer of SaaS remote collaboration and remote assist functionalities in the firm for the business critical executive and client services organizations in the firm. After studying the inputs from the various vendors, users, operations, engineering, security and legal teams - selected a SaaS vendor product and executed its rollout. Used Python against the vendor APIs as to understand usage.The product is now used for critical remote access help for the executives of the firm.

Rebuilt the SaaS remote access system of the firm, utilized by every (60,000+) employee in the firm. Core components included Citrix, Apache, Memcached, Perl, JavaScript and Zookeeper. Introduced the mobile client for the platform as it was rebuilt. This is fundamentally a desktop/apps as a service cloud solution. This product, known as MyDesk, is still used at Morgan Stanley today.Recruited and trained key staff necessary for the above undertaking.The MyDesk system has been battle tested - notably, it has allowed the firm to continue to operate during Hurricane Sandy in 2012, when the entirety of lower Manhattan was without power. It has also become the internal portal for the access of every desktop (100,000+) in the firm.
