Preform preventive maintenance and repairs in the Stratcom and surrounding buildings at Offutt AFB to maintain a safe and secure workplace. Install and repair various types of enclosure locks including being certified in the installation and operation of X-09 and X-10 High security electronic lock systems. I also have acquired and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

I would meet with department heads to develop a plan to set up the cubes, offices, meeting spaces and equipment in their space to best meet the needs of the associates and work processes.Coordinated interior remodeling projects with customers, supported departments and outside resources to insure completions within timelines and budgets.• Utilized AutoCAD and other illustrative software to create detail design floor plans.• Maintained a complete knowledge of all system furniture, office furniture and portable wall systems used corporate wide. This led to the use of AutoCAD for print design and the ability to electronically store, edit and email.• Created an electronic database for tracking campus locks and keys. The database maintained pin combinations, key codes, lock locations and key owners. The information could also be sorted and searched under those categories.• Created a master key system for new bank departments in the Home Office.

Performed maintenance and repair tasks related to but not exclusive to wall patch and repair, floor covering repair and replacement. Maintained exterior of buildings and grounds to include minor concrete repairs, caulking, sealing and minor roof repairs. Installed, repaired and maintained system furniture, office furniture and case goods. Maintained, repaired and re-keyed door locks to preserve the safety and security on campus.• Built custom furniture and cabinetry using a variety of materials, methods and finishes.• Performed quarterly inspections of stairway doors, emergency exits and restroom fixtures and hardware. Made necessary repairs as needed or coordinated and scheduled repairs with others.Achievements:• Introduced the method of modifying existing straight cubical work surfaces to create a 2-piece “L” shape work surface with a cutout for a keyboard tray for ergonomics. Generated a projected $70,000 savings for the company. The 2-piece design could safely be installed by one person without risk of back injury. In addition, by repurposing the existing straight work surfaces saved an estimated $55,000 in landfill costs.• Designed a one-piece Lexan shelf used in selected restrooms. The unit had a horizontal shelf and vertical portfolio slot. The 11 7/8” x 23 7/8” shelf produced 16 shelves made from a 4’x8’ sheet of ¼” Lexan polycarbonate with no waste. These shelves were used throughout the Home Office and in several Omaha field offices.
