In this role, I work closely with the Business Development and Business Adviser teams at the University, dealing directly with employers in a business facing environment. The purpose of these teams is to source graduate roles and build relationships with employers in the city and nationally, ensuring students are able to find placement opportunities while at University, and have plenty of options for full time employment when they leave. One of my main duties is to look after our graduate portal. This includes vetting and approving roles added by employers, and adding roles sourced by NTU teams. As part of this, I ensure that all roles are advertised consistently and with as much information as possible, working with NTU colleagues or employers to fill in any missing information. I have also developed and delivered training to NTU staff around data integrity. This is to help develop an understanding of what the current generation of graduates want in a job advert, and how these colleagues can then work with employers to get this information.I am also involved in analysis and reporting. Within this, I develop weekly, monthly and yearly data that delves into the number of roles being added, any trends that can be found in these figures, as well as reporting on any industry gaps that we can expand into. I can also run various ad hoc reports as required by staff. This could involve sector, industry or even individual company reports to analyse activity and engagement.Finally, I work in the Universities widening participation scheme, called RISE. This scheme is aimed at students who meet one of 5 select criteria, to ensure they have fair access to opportunities whilst at NTU, and ultimately enabling students from WP backgrounds to enjoy the same success levels as their non-WP peers both during and after their studies. My role is to work with employers to help them understand and improve widening participation, and to help our students access the support on offer.

• Team lead for the field of company cars. This involves the administration of all reporting relating to the car scheme and responding to queries for a population of around 2000 people.• Responsible for being the primary contact in the team for our external car provider and looking after the relationship with them. • Trained new joins on the company car policy and oversaw their work on this area.• Arranged the annual pavilion event to celebrate the launch of new benefits on our employee perks website. • Deal with escalation queries from colleagues for colleague and corporate benefits and liaised with other teams as appropriate to resolve the issue in a timely manner.• Working cross functionally to deliver recognition schemes, ranging from internal scratch cards, to external awards entries and the organisation and execution of the company’s annual recognition gala dinner, ‘Best of the Best.’• Administered the creation of the budget for the scratch card scheme, and the ordering and disseminating of the scratch cards across the business.• Closely involved in the administration of external awards entries, ensuring they are submitted centrally by collating them, then having them verified by the relevant internal teams before being submitted. Also oversaw the booking of hotel accommodation and tables at the event, and the raising of payments for this.

Working in the Boots support centre, my role was to answer calls from our customers and colleagues in store and resolve any query in a timely and effective manner. this could be anything from Advantage Card queries, to helping with orders, through to customer care and dealing with complaints and other issues.within this role, I consistently maintained high scores for call quality, and regularly dealt with more calls than my teammates. due to my natural empathy and customer service ability, I specialised in customer care calls. these calls were usually the most challenging but consequently, were the most rewarding. it was suggested that I move into a calls manager role, but i moved departments before this could be pursued.
