Carried out work in the engine room and reactor compartments of this nuclear powered vessel performing preventative and corrective maintenance on primary and secondary plant systems including pumps, turbines, valves, piping, and heat exchangers. Experienced in reading technical blue prints, schematics and system diagrams. Also trained in radiological control including clean up of radioactive fluids, monitoring and control of contamination levels. Held a “Confidential” Security Clearance and was discharged with honors.
