I grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and graduated from Camden Catholic High School and Rutgers University. In 1995, I earned my Juris Doctor from Widener University Law School (now Widener University Commonwealth Law School) where I achieved honor grades in property and professional responsibility and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar the same year.For the first five years of my legal career I worked as a municipal attorney and prosecutor for several municipalities in Burlington County. I was able to use my experience as a prosecutor to develop a successful career as a municipal court and criminal court defense attorney. As a criminal defense attorney, I succeeded at the New Jersey Appellate Court level in overturning the denial of my client’s admission into the New Jersey Pre-Trial Intervention (PTI) Program and, thus, ensuring that all future applications in the County where said denial occurred are evaluated properly. Over the years I have also developed a successful Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation practice. Some of my more rewarding results were procuring a substantial settlement for a woman who fell at a restaurant and ruptured her hamstring tendon resulting in life-altering injuries, obtaining a ruling that a client who had fallen approximately 30 feet from a ladder fracturing his neck, back and both wrists was an employee of a contractor which resulted in almost 8 years of temporary disability benefits for the client and getting a local restaurant owner to repay dozens of servers after years of improperly diverting portions of their tips.I have also represented both buyers and sellers in numerous real estate transactions and have negotiated several restaurant leases.
