I thrive on using my skills to improve the lives of others. Whether it's bringing someone closer to health through action or lending an ear to provide the holistic support they need, I'm the man for the job. I am dedicated to continual improvement of myself and the system, to optimize quality of care given to patients within the community.I am a dependable and driven individual with a broad background in medicine including clinical experience as an EMT, ED scribe, CNA, and anesthesia technician. I work well with medical staff and physicians while maintaining an organized workflow and searching for solutions to various problems. Interacting with patients and alleviating their ailments energizes me to no end. Everyday I aim to expand my knowledge in the field, contribute to the betterment of others’ lives, and continue learning daily.In addition to my clinical experience, I also have a solid background in the basic sciences, with areas of strength including human anatomy and physiology, emergency medicine, neuroscience, and the musculoskeletal system. Given these interests and areas of proficiency, I am a member of the Surgery Interest group at Texas A&M College of Medicine and currently serve as the Texas College of Emergency Physicians representative for our school. Outside of work and school, I enjoy volunteering with the Special Olympics and health related positions in various other organizations. When I am not studying medicine, working, or volunteering, I find my joys in strength training, literature, and mountain biking. I am fascinated by the beauty in nature and appreciate it every chance I get.
