I currently teach a graduate course on Blockchain applications and data analytics at Stevens Institute of Technology, after teaching a related graduate course on Cryptocurrency trading and investing at Columbia University. This is an extension of my last decade+ work in the FinTech space in the U.S. and in Asia where I was an investor and advisor to Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain initiatives. In March 2020, I co-authored the book "Blockchain Investor Manual: The Complete Guide to Blockchain Fundamentals, Trading and Investing." I perform ongoing research on Cryptocurrency and Blockchain, while consulting and acting as advisor to UHNW Blockchain investors and to projects including NFTs. Prior to embarking on a career in financial technology, I was a pioneer in the derivatives market with over fifteen years of experience at various financial institutions such as Citibank and Morgan Stanley. At my last position on Wall Street, I was Managing Director - Head Structured Credit Trading Americas at ABN AMRO, where I led the bank's central role in establishing CDX Credit Default Swap indexes (now called CDX Markit). Covering North American and Emerging markets, CDX accounts for 40% of the CDS notional trading volume in DTCC.I look forward to sharing my knowledge and appreciate the perspective of others. Toward that end, I am an active speaker at several events and television shows, including those hosted by Microsoft and RT America. While in Asia, I delivered the keynote address at a number of FinTech events. I also conducted workshops at the American Association of Singapore providing mentorship for professionals in transition titled “Turning the Tables on Disruption: Making the Career Switch to Tech Ventures.” I stay connected to my more than 30K followers on social media with frequent blog posts of my views and analysis.
