My fascination with marketing and business growth stems from the thought of genuinely helping others and providing value. The real world of effective marketing today forces business owners to think about what is best for their prospective client / customer and build a great experience for them. This cuts out all of the misleading advertising, spam and inauthentic marketing. Since it is important to build the best marketing experience for the consumer, new and exciting challenges await new business owners and small business owners have a chance to compete effectively against large corporations. I have a deep passion for being on the side of the small business owner and helping them navigate these exciting waters.Historically, marketers tend to be spammy and take the approach of throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. This approach bothers me deeply and since starting my marketing career, I vowed to never follow this path. Outside of work, I follow astrophysics and astronomy very closely. I find it fascinating that scientists are able to develop theories based on a fundamental understanding of the scientific method. These theories guide our understanding of the universe and help test the hypotheses people hold. I mention this because I also use the scientific method in developing marketing strategies so that I can base my theories and develop new hypotheses based on fact and data rather than throwing spaghetti at the wall.
