Hello!My name is Joseph Baker. I am located in Frederick, MD. I am a recent graduate of the University of Maryland Global Campus, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Law for Business. I was also a member of UMGC's Public Safety Students Association and one of the school's academic honor societies, Alpha Sigma Lambda. I am presently working as a Paralegal for the Law Office of Lena A. Clark, LLC in Frederick, MD. This is a small law firm focusing solely on Probate and Estate Planning. I primarily work closely with our Probate clients by accumulating and organizing relevant information, preparing filings for the court, and regularly meeting with Probate clients. I also draft Estate Planning documents (Powers of Attorney, Wills & Trusts) and regularly contact and meet with the office's EP clientele as well. My prior experience in the service industry has greatly impacted my ability to work with clients and guide them through these legal processes with ease. In the coming years, I plan to further my education and attend law school to work towards a career as an attorney. Outside of work, I enjoy closely following the Washington Capitals, Cleveland Guardians, and Baltimore Orioles with my partner. I also enjoy traveling, exploring major cities, and being in the company of loved ones, family, friends, and my dog Ginger.
