Execution of equity baskets from various clients, typically institutional investors. Frequently provide execution feedback in the form of market colour, pre and post trade perfomance analysis. Client instructions/benchmarking on portfolios include but are not limited to: VWAP, close, TWAP, volume participate (either on primary or multiple exchanges), cash/residual neutral, alpha capture (IS), pairs trading within specific tolerance. Trading is done either against hard limits or floating limits, such as sector relative limits. Utilise knowledge of ITG core systems and dark/lit MTF markets to maximise execution quality. This includes leveraging ITGs algorithmic and smrt order routing suites. Work closely with Sales trading desk to cross and internalise as much flow as possible. Effective relationship management and ability to trade quickly and accurately under pressure essential. Also trade FX for clients who looked to settle in native currency.

Heavily involved with and managed several large cost saving analysis and implementation initiatives such as algorithmic order sizing and analytics, smart order routing posting ratios and internalisation rates on dark algorithms Very knowledgeable on MTFs, especially liquidity fragmentation across European venues, smart order routing and Dark pools. Highly technically knowledgeable and articulate on ITG commodotised algorithms such as volume participation and VWAP, as well as the differentiator products such as Dynamic IS, Dark and Active algorithms Routinely supported and analysed algorithmic trades for clients and the trading desk, providing feedback with the relevant level of detail on order performance and execution quality. Usually as a result on queries regarding unexpected trading behaviour Acted as primary level support and knowledge base for the execution management desk, trading desk and white label clients. Have delivered training sessions to the firm on the ITG algorithmic trading products.
