About Joe Logan

I originally trained as a medical doctor, and then went on to obtain my MBA and PhD in artificial intelligence from UTS in Sydney. I am the co-founder of two health-tech startups which use modern AI approaches to solve problems in clinical medicine, and have worked as a freelance software engineer and virtual CTO for over 10 years. During my time in healthcare startups and academia, I have published a number of papers on the role of AI in healthcare, particularly in emerging economies.My recent venture, Exceptra, intends to leverage large language models to improve stack-wide bug reporting, and compete with companies such as Sentry and BugSnag.
