Principle efforts are product demonstrations and the creation of statements of work in both the SolidWorks PDM and Manage softwares. Strong focus on developing team member skill sets in both softwares, while working with Management to develop an automated process of SOW creation and a more robust and defined process for bringing customer projects to life. Teach team members how to recognizing a customers pain points as one becomes a trusted advisor during the scoping process and solidify an Engineering solution that often times will involve more than just PDM and or Manage.

Senior Designer - In the Engineering department I principally worked with SolidWorks 2015 to launch our current product lines into 3-D. My design responsibilities involved a heavy focus on sheet metal weldments and massive assembly configurations in an effort to decrease overall product design time. My years of SolidWorks experience gave me a strong mentoring ability with others in the department to help integrate the software into becoming our native CAD system.Lead role in a CAD administration capacity over three key areas. First was by creating, implementing, and maintaining an in depth EPDM workflow system that supported a more fluid sign-off procedure and was mindful of data migration requirements. Second was by building an EPDM BOM process that integrated manufacturing needs, thus greatly reducing timing and errors during the release process. Third was by building a data migration program and protocol to import the nearly 100,000 models and drawing from the existing CAD database so that the data integrity and revision history was maintained and protected.

Lead Engineer - Responsible for using Solid Works 2010 to model & FEA parts of a hydraulic hybrid transmission. I.E. pump and motor housings, rotary groups, swash plates, manifolds, valving, schematics, accumulators. Both mechanical & electrical transmission control strategies applied.Test Engineer - Responsible for work with and coordinating the assembly and test of transmissions and various sub groups.

New business development - Worked with both GM and Ford to secure new tier one programs requiring hydraulic actuation systems. Developed an aftermarket product portfolio. One sector alone projected over $1.5M in annual sales with nearly zero capitol investment.Quality liaison - Managed clean up of quality spills and plant issues at customers. Built and maintained a tracking matrix with over 175 issues at onset. Within 9 months had all issues resolved and closed tracking matrix.Prototype fabrication - Was responsible for prototype build and installation of hydraulic actuators in show cars at GM & Ford. Generated revenue stream in excess of over $75K in 2008.Launch Engineer - Launch Engineer Ford E386 power decklid; responsible for 100% of customer interface and multiple engineering disciplines.Process engineer - Pontiac G6 header latch assembly line; responsible for revising master process flow. Increased product throughput from 65/day to meet customer peak requirements of 241/day.

Lab Manager – Responsible for validation testing on the Pontiac Solstice (GMX020) convertible roof. 5 direct reports and 15 temporary employees in the department.Program Manager - Managed MY2000 JR27 Sebring concept show car, cloth covered retractable hardtop display property, MY1998 JX27 Sebring concept show car & the industry’s first hydraulic power lift-gate.Product Engineer – Responsible for design and launch of the SN95 Mustang & JX27-JR-27 convertible roof hydraulic actuator.

Designer - CAD designer responsible for drawing updates and engineering changes. Launch team member during the development and testing of the company’s first hydrostatic transaxle.
