As I pursue opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry where I have extensive experience in clinical operations, let me share my recent personal accomplishments while on sabbatical. I trained for and competed in several national sports challenges. I travelled internationally, became certified as a personal trainer, and provided financial services to a private condominium association. These were all rewarding experiences that allowed me to engage with all types of people in a competitive environment as I pursued various long-term personal goals.As a Clinical Operations Director, I met with great success in driving bottom–line results for leading global pharmaceutical companies. During my tenure at Abbott Labs, I enhanced clinical trials budget forecasting, as well as improved resource management capabilities by creating and implementing the framework for a centralized Clinical Planning group. By collaborating with senior management, this Planning group was leveraged by all the clinical therapeutic areas.While serving as Assistant Director of Operations for Finance/Contracts at NeoPharm, Inc, I directed the successful execution of multiple Master Agreements, Vendor and Consulting Agreements. When promoted to Director of Operations for Clinical Research Management, I managed the negotiation and execution of all Clinical Trial Agreements, including the pivotal phase III site Agreements. Along with the Chief Medical Officer and executive staff, I participated in the forecasting and finalization of the annual multi–million dollar clinical operating budget.Earlier in my career, I served as the Senior Clinical Project Manager and Data Management Associate at Pharmacia, Inc. where I directed the data management activities for the Celebrex NDA submission. My expertise includes a broad range of therapeutic areas, Immunology, Oncology, Asthma, Arthritis, Cardiovascular, Gastroenterology, and Dermatology.
