Assigned to COMM360’s corporate and government clients, with primary tasks connected to JUSTGeorgia, a statewide juvenile justice coalition created in 2006. Its purpose is to advocate for change to Georgia’s juvenile code and the underlying social service systems to better serve Georgia’s children. Duties include:• Tracking media coverage of the issue and writing a weekly report on coverage to team members• Assisting with creation and adaption of Talking Points for team members and public officials• Creating content for social media sites (Facebook and Twitter) that promotes JUSTGeorgia’s key messages on juvenile code reform• Attending and monitoring legislative committee meetings related to juvenile code reform• Creating and editing communications materials for coalition members, media and legislators

Worked on the advocacy campaign, Connect Georgia, which urged voters to pass a 1 percent sales tax to fund transportation improvements around the state. Duties included:• Managing messaging and content on 12 Facebook pages• Monitoring and contributing to conversations on these Facebook pages• Writing blogs to reinforce campaign messages• Writing campaign Talking Points for elected officials and business leaders, including talking points for Gov. Nathan Deal and Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle • Assisting with on-site management of media at press events• Serving as liaison between campaign regional directors around the state and the core campaign team • Participated in conducting speaker’s bureaus training throughout the state
