I have 25 years of financial and managerial experience in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. I started my career on the Financial Management Program at General Electric. After completing graduate school, I worked as a Senior Budget Analyst for the New York State Division of Budget focusing on public finance, budget, and policy matters in the environmental and transportation fields. Following the Division of Budget, I was appointed Budget Director of the NYS Thruway Authority. My career in higher education began at Colgate University where I was Director of Budget, Institutional Research and Planning. I then accepted my first position as VP of Finance and Administration at Allegheny College. I then moved to the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Virginia where I was Associate Dean for Planning and Operations.
