A new winery venture in El Paso Texas, the start of the North American wine industry. This is where the first European wine grapes were successfully planted, cultivated, and turned into wine. There is a rich heritage of quality wines being shipped back to the King and Queen of Spain, even before the first grapes were planted in California in 1723. Our hope is to restore this heritage and tradition located in far West Texas.

This is a charity that provides assistance to homeless families and primarily daycare services, meals, and educational support to homeless children. For many of the kids the meal that they get at this facility is the only meal they have that day. For many each night is spent in a car or out in these makeshift communities without shelter in the desert. I believe it is important to help rebuild these families and care for the children.

After moving to El Paso in August of 2007 I took the position of wine director for the Greenery Market an upscale wine shop and gourmet market. I also started work on building the wine menu for 2900 a fine dinning restaurant that was scheduled to open. 2900 opened in Feb 2008 and won a Wine Spectator Award for its wine list. We opened with more than 5500 bottles in inventory and 850 wines on the bottle list, and 124 wine by the glass.
