I then worked again from June 2023 until the end of October 2023. The work was project-based; I was assigned to a team of developers to develop the application requested by the clients. During my job I've worked on four projects. The first two were UKRI-funded projects aiming to help carers deliver therapeutic music sessions to people living with dementia. The third project looked to provide an interface to the client's (UoM chemistry lecturers) ML model. The fourth concerned developing a UI for a microservice system helping users with type 1 diabetes get insights into their health. My responsibilities included holding regular meetings with the clients and line manager to discuss the project's progress in an agile manner, conducting pair-programming and performing code reviews before merges in the git repository.
