Temporary PositionWorking on Press machine, Slitting machine, and Glebar machinePressing metal rods using metal powder - wearing correct PPE as powder is toxic (Face mask, safety goggles, gloves, overalls, safety boots).I would work on the above 3 machines every shift to create the rods to millimeter specification accuracy, whilst managing the workload to get orders completed on time.Pressing the metal powder into rods first, slitting them to correct length, then polishing to correct diameter.Also helped out with packing the rods on the odd occasion if needed

Working on the fresh produce and chillers mainly, however was trained on everything in store and pretty much filled in where I was needed:-Repleneshing stock-Rotating stock dates-Date checking every product manually, removing out of date products-Reducing sell-by-date products-Updating stock count-Taking deliveries-Working on cashier tills when needed-Working on ambient stock when needed (non-chiller stock)-Generally keeping store clean, cleaning up spillages-Aiding security in stopping shoplifters
