OptumRx - Software QA/Automation EngineerMy work was primarily focused on performing software quality assurance tasks for OptumRx's patient portals (Web + Mobile). This team used an agile software development framework, and scheduled monthly updates based on 2 week sprints. My tasks included designing, executing, and automating various test cases in order to deliver high quality code to production. Automation was performed using Selenium framework , and executed in both web browsers and mobile applications. I also participated in daily QA status meetings, scrum calls, and acceptance criteria design meetings

ERP ImplementationMy experience with Good Foods began with the implementation of an ERP system. I was responsible for coordinating with all areas of the business (Purchasing, Sales, Quality, Production) in order to assess their needs and properly program and implement them into a new ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Nav. I also worked with power users and end users up to five times a week in order to familiarize them with their specific tasks and responsibilities. Additionally, I created in-depth written procedures designed to assist future employees assimilate to the new system.Statistical Calculations for ProductionIn addition to my work on the ERP system, I performed statistical calculations on all quality measures for various WIP and final products, causing the quality team to change nearly 50 specifications in order to properly reflect the capabilities of the production process. Later, I assisted the sales team and the CFO with the analysis of sales data. I analyzed five years of produce sales data so as to determine which types of crops to purchase, which geographical location to purchase them from, and what season provided us with the highest yield.

I assumed all responsibilities when aquatic director was not present, which included analysis of chemical readings and choosing the appropriate action, creation of schedules, and ensuring the safety of the clientele. I also trained and managed up to ten new hires on basic procedures and safety regulations. I was previously certified in first aid, CPR, and as a lifeguard. I routinely assisted in recertification of lifeguard certificates.
