Joe Klunk founded KTECH Capital, LLC in 2014. KTECH provides seed stage and other private funding to entrepreneurial businesses. Joe serves as the firm's Managing Partner. In that role, he carefully selects and manages a portfolio of tech-savvy investments that strive to produce social or environmental benefits as well as superior financial returns.Prior to founding KTECH, Joe served as the Chairman and CEO of Parkway Products, Inc., a Florence, KY based global leader in custom molding technologies for 30 years. Joe was a driving force behind the Company's remarkable growth. During Joe’s tenure at Parkway, the Company grew from a single location to an international business with focused factories throughout the USA & Mexico. While at Parkway, Joe had orchestrated six acquisitions, four joint ventures, three greenfields and four divestitures.In 2013, Joe led the highly successful carve-out sale of Parkway's Aerospace & Defense composites business to EDAC Technologies, a portfolio company of Greenbriar Equity Partners. Joe currently serves on EDAC's Board of Directors as a co-investor and valued advisor.In 2015, Joe sold the rest of Parkway to Capital Partners, a Connecticut based PE firm, to concentrate on growing KTECH. Joe is active in the Angel investing community serving on the advisory board of the Kentucky Angels, the investment committee of Connetic Ventures and is a member of VentureSouth.He is a graduate of Miami University and has an MBA from Xavier University. Prior to joining Parkway, he was a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte & Touche.
