Chief Geologist located in Gannett Fleming’s Valley Forge Office responsible for evaluation and design of remediation methods for sites with problematic geologic conditions including karst features, landslides, rockfalls, and debris flows. Primary tasks involve interfacing with clients, maintaining project schedules and budgets, preparing design proposals and reports, cost estimates, construction specifications, contract documents, drawings, and details, coordinating with field staff, and overseeing specialty geotechnical construction inspections including slope stabilization and sinkhole mitigation. Provides technical direction and thought leadership in the firm's Earth Sciences global business line. Experience includes oversight of complex subsurface investigations, geologic mapping, conducting geological surveys using remote sensing technology, installing and reading geotechnical instrumentation, and performing geophysical surveys. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Association of GeoHazard Professionals.Specialties include: Slope stability analyses, sinkhole mitigation, and geotechnical construction.
