Joe joined Savills in 1989 and leads Savills’ North American brokerage business. Joe heads a team of professionals in Chicago consistently ranked as one of the country’s leading tenant advisors. To date, Joe’s team has managed more than 40 million square feet of national transactions with a total value more than $25 billion for corporate clients such as Exelon, Berkshire Hathaway, Constellation Energy, Accenture, US Bank and UnitedHealth Group and legal clients such as Kirkland & Ellis and Skadden Arps. Joe specializes in managing complex real estate projects, providing his clients with an understanding of each project component and its relationship to other components to deliver the optimal holistic solution. Joe works on behalf of major public corporations, not-for-profit organizations, service firms, and private organizations where cash flow, stock price, partner distributions, accounting implications, and optimal lease negotiations are critical. He has assisted numerous clients achieve cost savings through the analysis of real estate financing and accounting structures for leases and capital improvements. Joe is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BA, Economics), and the University of Chicago (MBA, Finance and Business Strategy).
