As a seasoned business leader and experienced financial services professional, I have over 20 years of experience in the global financial services marketplace. I have been able to establish a reputation as a strategic assurance operating executive and innovative leader with direct oversight of the financial performance and growth of the firm’s financial services assurance business. I’m a member of the EY Americas Financial Services Executive Board and bring extensive governance experience, having worked with boards, audit committees and senior management to resolve complex business issues.In my leadership role as Americas Assurance Managing Partner of the EY Financial Services Organization (FSO), I am responsible for the financial performance, strategy, operations, and people management of a national practice generating $1.6b in global revenues across the audit, financial accounting and advisory services (FAAS), and forensic and integrity services (FIS) service lines. The practice encompasses 40+ locations, including the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands, and over 3,000 professionals.I started my career as an accountant with New York Life Insurance Company prior to joining EY in 1997. Before becoming the FSO Americas Assurance Managing Partner, I was the Audit Leader for FSO and the Assurance Banking and Capital Markets Sector Leader, where I had direct oversight of the financial performance and growth of the EY financial services assurance business – a $500m practice. I also served as the New York Metro Banking and Capital Markets Segment Leader and Americas Initial Public Offering (IPO) Leader for the FSO. I have provided assurance and advisory services to leading Fortune 500 public companies during my tenure at EY and was responsible for the development and implementation of the EY national strategy related to IPOs. My clients have included exchanges, electronic market makers, broker-dealers, commodities traders, and hedge funds.I received my BS from West Chester University and my MBA from Columbia University and am a Certified Public Accountant in New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing and spending time with my wife and daughters.
