Hewlett Packard Data Centre Infrastructure Implementation Project Manager The scope of the project encompassed the delivery of 42 racks into two data centres plus a test Environment required for the pretest releases. Overseeing the delivery of an MPC (Managed Private Cloud) inside a Virtual Private Cloud solution for the Ministry of Defence • Managing multiple builds and installation teams to deliver software/hardware and infrastructure on a wide Range of technical hardware within the new Data Centres. • Coordination of all equipment deliveries and standing up the main solutions including liaising with third party contractors to supply other services required. • Assisted in the delivery of two new Data Centres

ATLAS DII Contract - Active Network Equipment (ANE) Technology Refresh Project.The scope of the project encompassed the design and development of new active network LAN hardware and software to replace those which were aged or obsolete across the MOD DII Estate, through formal test and release, to actual site deployment to 500+ MOD sites both in the UK and overseas. This included large data centers through to small sites with one or two devices. The project was ultimately put on stop by the customer due to the MOD decision to move to a new style of IT.

Core Network implementation, migration and decommissionThe scope of the project encompassed the upgrade of the core network infrastructure hardware and software to Cisco Nexus 7000 into the newly refurbished Hot Isle Data Centre

Delivering a large scale 100,000+ Desktop rolloutTasked to provide interim cover for the delivery of the desktops and printers required for the rollout. • Coordinate activities across consortium members to ensure delivery of the project milestones by the due dates • Work closely with MOD counterparts to clarify and manage scope; review and impact change requests and risk and issue management. • Act as customer point of contact for any issues, queries or ad hoc requests. • Conduct project meetings with the internal teams and consortium technical teams. • Prepare and deliver project report at monthly customer facing project boards. • Provide monthly financial reports.

Tasked to manage the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of geographically diverse military sites. The 4000+ desktops, Networks for which I have directly managed in my capacity as Implementation Manager have contributed approximately one million pounds per month to the consortium in service revenue and approximately £3.5 million on passive/active/data centre delivery.
