I completed my PhD in English Literature at the University of Sheffield and was awarded the doctorate in March 2020. My thesis focused on contemporary literary representations of non-human animals utilised in scientific investigations, an interdisciplinary study that incorporated various key conceptual approaches taken from sociology, philosophy, literature, and the empirical sciences.

It was my responsibility to ensure that the expectations of their doctoral studies were met in alignment with UCL's research practice and teaching protocols whilst they were placed within our department, ensuring they remained supported from their admissions process right trough to project completion and their point of departure. -
