    I was a tutor on undergraduate poetry and prose modules for the 2017/18 academic year.     The role consisted of providing administrative research support to various research teams conducting both domestic and international trials into treatment solutions for TB, HIV and AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. My day-to-day duties included the organisation of both internal and external meetings and events, assisting in the logging and maintaining of sensitive research data on secure databases, producing trial research reports, data results and distributing materials to both internal and external contacts, communications intrinsic to the successful running of global, intercollegiate projects. I also supported various project teams, minuting meetings for later publication and acted as research quality officer, liaising regularly with the research ethics committee in order to then service trial team meetings and ensure standards were met. A key part of my role in Research Support involved providing logistical and administrative support to our many PhD graduate students. These tasks included facilitating meetings, interviews and providing workspaces via communication with various UCL departments and interdisciplinary postgraduate projects. It was my responsibility to ensure that the expectations of their doctoral studies were met in alignment with UCL's research practice and teaching protocols whilst they were placed within our department, ensuring they remained supported from their admissions process right trough to project completion and their point of departure.
