On June 27th 2014, Sun Products Corp., Baltimore Site(Formerly Unilever HPC and Lever Brothers) shut down all operations. All production was moved to other facilities. Up to the closing date I was a member of the mechanical shut down team. Operations were maintained until the end date and I continued my responsibilities of all planning/scheduling all packaging, processing, and warehousing maintenance activities. Prior to the closing transition I was responsible for the following:*Plan and schedule maintenance work in accordance to plant safety, environmental and PSM requirements with internal and external customers.*Create, maintain and track work orders and libraries in CMMS for preventative maintenance plans, assets, materials, tools and labor.*Develop and maintain extensive working relationships with production personnel, maintenance technicians, quality control, and manufacturing engineers as well as external vendors in order to improve quality of job plans and preventative plan processes.*Responsible for researching vendors to maximize cost savings.*Create purchase orders and order all maintenance parts and tools as well as spare parts and materials to support work orders.*Estimate times and materials to effectively reduce cost and execute preventative maintenance repairs.*Assist in managing over 30 union crafts personnel including machinists, packaging mechanics, electricians, and pipe fitter/welders.*Assist in facilitating innovation projects and new equipment installations.*Managed schedules, vacations, maintenance coordination vs. available manpower.
