After 6 months of training with the Cornwall Client and Candidate database I am now responsible for the Plymouth and West Devon account, reporting directly to the Director of Plymouth, Exeter, and Cornwall for ITS.In this role I am responsible for all incoming enquiries by clients and candidates. I regularly go out on sites and meet with clients to discuss business and how we can support their projects going forward. This in turn builds rapport and a working relationship with clients which I value highly. I also negotiate charge and pay rates, ensuring all parties are happy with the final rates.

In my training to become a Recruitment Consultant with ITS Building People my role initially includes:- Registering new candidates and getting their documentation and qualifications added to our IQX database.- Screening candidates and qualifying them for our active and up coming jobs.- Shadowing my colleagues on site visits and employment events.- Writing and publishing job adverts on various job sites.- Searching various databases to search for suitable candidates, then making contact and selling them on the role we have available.- Taking incoming calls to the office and dealing with clients and candidate queries.- Tidying up the database and ensuring all active workers and fully compliant with our employment policy.- Assisting colleagues wherever required.

After 6 months of training I was deemed ready for my own client portfolio by my manager. In this role I am:-Taking on an array of existing and new clients who I am solely responsible for.-Building strong, working relationships with all of my clients and candidates.-Ensuring that all of my placements go through, confirming the fee amount with the client, and passing that information on to my director for invoicing.-Assisting my colleagues with their roles they are struggling to fill.-Learning how to search on Zoom Info, as well as mastering LinkedIn Recruiter, Reed, and Indeed.-Keeping track of all income for the business, as well as creating forecasts of future income, allowing us to implement targets and a KPI driven bonus system.-Presenting our figures weekly to the whole company, allowing us all to prioritise roles to maximise potential earnings.-Writing and publishing all job adverts on our systems, these include LinkedIn, Reed, Indeed, Zoho, and our website (made by WordPress).-Supporting clients and candidates by any means possible, not just necessarily with recruitment.
