As a Senior Engineer I was responsible for the continued development, enhancement, maintenance, and deployment of multiple web applications as well as writing DevOps scripts, training new engineers, and supporting our services department.Accomplishments:- Designed and implemented a robust RESTful API using token-based authentication, JSON API specifications, and a fully documented front-end via Swagger UI (Ruby, Rails, JS)- Primary developer on the continued feature development and maintenance for two major releases of the Emcien Patterns web application (Ruby, Rails, SQL, JS, Haml)- Worked directly with our support and services team to design and build an automated data pipeline for integrating customer systems with Emcien products (Ruby)- Developed software for the configuration and management of internal servers including installation and user management scripts for an OpenVPN server with Two-Factor Authentication hosted on AWS (Ruby)- Led sprint planning sessions and developed a custom kanban workflow to optimize productivity within the engineering team (Jira, Kanban)

As a developer on the POS and Mobility team, I was responsible for multiple customer facing applications including the Point of Sale and mobile inventory/checkout systems.I worked closely with internal business partners to write and deploy micro-services (Java) to support their requirements. Often these projects would include a small front-end to display information for users. Additionally, I supported two mobile applications written in Javascript. One was an inventory tool used by stores to determine sku details and inventory information, the other a mobile life-cycle management tool for specific order types. Accomplishments:- Worked on team designing and implementing an application that provides store associates with aworkable list of tasks and processes on a mobile device and browser (JS, Java)- Wrote services and a web application to provide IT Level 2/3 with tools to quickly diagnose andsafely fix commonly reported errors in customer transactions (Java, JS)- Setup Splunk instances and forwarders on Linux and Windows systems to analyze data in logsand schedule the distribution of information to teams throughout the company

As a software engineer I helped design and write a stock market prediction tool using machine learning. Accomplishments:- Co-designed, implemented, and tested a successful stock market prediction program thatemployed fully automated self-learning algorithms using data analytics (Java, Weka)- Grew Avirtek’s company investment account by 69% from Jan 1, 2013 to Mar 31, 2013- Co-wrote a user interface for clients and investors to view stock market and prediction data
