Currently heading up hatchery operations at Whitby Lobster Hatchery.During my time here, I have learnt much about marine aquaculture and crustacean husbandry.The role is incredibly varied. From day-to-day husbandry, release days and system troubleshooting; to public outreach, commissioned research projects and advisory roles - no day in the hatchery is ever the same.It has been a joy to follow the juvenile lobsters from hatch to release, as well as experience people of all backgrounds getting behind what we do.
