I'm honored to serve the membership of the Florida Trucking Association as a board member.

I'm responsible for overseeing the management of Groendyke Transport, Inc.

I served as the senior executive responsible for our commercial activities as well as the oversight of our Planning Centers.

My role is to support and accelerate the company's ambitious growth agenda, and to help drive overall operational and commercial execution excellence.

I was responsible for leading CTL Transportation, the liquid bulk trucking company of Comcar Industries. I was privileged to lead a team who over four years improved our financial performance by 55.1 Operating Ratio points.

I served as the commercial leader (which includes: sales, revenue management, and customer service) for this $200M division of Schneider National, Inc., a $4B global transportation and logistics provider.

I was responsible for the global sales and marketing of sourcing and supply chain services via a joint venture to select tier one suppliers to the tire and rubber industry.

In my original role at RubberNetwork, I was initially responsible for developing and optimizing a global sourcing team who would use globally standard processes and technology to deliver purchasing savings value to our members. As the team matured, the focus shifted to understanding and capitalizing our leverageable strengths, and driving unique and sustainable value to our members.

After relocating back to the East Coast in early 2001, I had made commitments to two companies to provide them consulting services. For one of these companies, whose primary offices were in in NYC, London, and Moscow, I supported the design and implemention of a global business model for a B2B portal for the oil industry. For the other PA based company, I developed a professional sales and marketing strategy for this marketing services company.

When I hired into this startup Internet based B2B company, I was tasked with implementing the operating vision of the founders. In that capacity, I helped to create and optimize a scalable, sustainable, cost-effective global operations and service delivery business model. I also spent a great deal of time working with the member companies and leading the adoption of our e-services by conducting user group immersion training. Working with a world class engineering and technical design and development team, I was responsible for the business design and implemention of ISO compliant global processes. Along with the aforementioned world class engineering team, I served in a collaborative role on joint commercial-development teams to design, develop, and deliver custom engineered technology solutions.

Quality Carriers was formed by the merger of Chemical Leaman Tank Lines (my former employer) and Montgomery Tank Lines. My experience is shown under my previous Chemical Leaman entry.

I joined Chemical Leaman (today a part of Quality Carriers) ) in 11/91 as a Director of National Accounts where I managed a $12M book of business. I was promoted in 04/95 to the role of Regional Director of Sales where I managed an 8 person sales team located along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. The team had a $52M book of business. In 04/96, I was promoted into a newly created role of VP Marketing & Customer Service where I was charged with creating a world class service delivery capability for our North American network. Additionally, I managed the telesales effort to sell our daily idle capacity. I was also deeply involved with pricing, promotions, market research, and market communications.

Responsible for sales to all national accounts east of the Mississippi River.
