With an ongoing commitment to producing high quality, innovative products, TruTech Solutions has recently installed 2 additional high performance Unison DedTru® Centerless Grinders complete with Optidress form attachments into our workshop. These state of the art machines allow for exceptional accuracy and roundness. Rigid part support insures consistent concentricity up to 0.0012mm (.000050 inch). Round and cylindrical parts from 0.127mm (0.005 inch) to 127mm (5 inches) can be ground by thrufeed operation including steps, forms, tapers, chamfers and other OD/ID secondary operations.In addition, to continue TruTech’s high standards of precision, customisation and pin-point accuracy we have also purchased an Agie Wire Eroder with a Peps Camtek package for programming. This machine allows eroding on all 4 axis. Wire erosion is the process whereby a metallic wire (electrode) is used to cut a programmed contour into a work-piece. Each electrical discharge creates a crater in the work-piece to remove material. The wire can be inclined, making it possible to create components with tapered or differing profiles at the top & bottom of the work-piece. Show less
